Terms of Service

Welcome to Tavi. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Tavi Labs, Inc. ("Tavi Labs", "we", "us", "our") and govern your use of the Tavi mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using Tavi, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tavi. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or legal guardian's permission.

2. Entertainment, not advice

Tavi's readings, daily readings, personality reflections, and chat responses are produced by AI for entertainment and reflection purposes only. They are not, and must not be relied on as, professional advice — medical, legal, financial, psychological, relationship, or otherwise. If you need real advice, talk to a qualified professional.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of the third-party sign-in account (Apple, Google) you use with Tavi. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Premium features require an auto-renewing subscription, sold through the Apple App Store. Pricing, billing, and renewal are handled by Apple per their standard terms. To cancel, manage subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Refunds are at Apple's discretion.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Upload images of anyone other than yourself without their consent, or any unlawful, harmful, or sexually explicit content.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying models or prompts.
Use the Service to harass, defame, or violate the rights of others.
Interfere with the Service's operation or security.
Use the Service to make decisions with significant legal, financial, or health consequences.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or otherwise abuse the Service.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos and information you upload. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display that content for the sole purpose of operating and improving the Service for you. You can delete your content (and your whole account) at any time from Settings.

7. Our content

The Tavi app, brand, designs, copy, and AI-generated outputs we deliver to you are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use.

8. Termination

You can stop using Tavi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, liability) will survive.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS ARE ACCURATE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAVI LABS, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) US$50.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tavi Labs, Inc. and its affiliates from any claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where applicable consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
